First I would like to extend a HUGE THANK YOU to Aerosmith and AF1 for the opportunity for some fanclub members to attend the Guitar Hero launch party at the Hard Rock on Friday. It was an absolutely fabulous experience. VIP treatment the whole way and a privilege to share in another part of Aerosmith history. It was great to see old Aero friends and meet many new ones. They have some wonderful stories to tell and I'll leave the telling to them.

My guest, Mari, and I arrived in time to see Joe arrive in his limo and head to his bus. I did get the chance to ask him how his knee was doing and he told me "It's doing good and thanks for asking."

We headed into the Hard Rock and got our passes and proceeded to find where to set up camp. We found a great spot on the second level and enjoyed the great appetizers, buffet and non stop drinks. Guitar hero was set up throughout the Hard Rock for all to play and nothing but Aerosmith music to listen to.

I was fortunate enough to get right up by the stage area to view the press conference and get some pictures and video. After close to a year it was great to see the band together again even if they weren't playing. They are all looking great I might add. Also had the pleasure of saying hi to Joey afterwards. That was an unexpected surprise. So while it may have been hot on the streets of NY on Friday, it was cool as hell inside the Hard Rock.

All entries are due by Wednesday, June 25th 4pm EDT.  Winners will be notified by Thursday, June 26th at 12pm EDT.  AF1 will randomly select 25 winners who will be allowed to bring 1 (one) guest.  The confirmed winners will be posted right here on AF1.  Tickets will be left at will call under the winners name.  You must present a valid ID to pick up your tickets to enter and must be 18 years of age or older.
