When did you first hear Aerosmith?
The first time that I ever heard Aerosmith was about an hour after I was born. Of course I don't remember but my mom played "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing' the first time she held me. The first time I remember listening to them for real was when I was about 2 years old.
What’s your favorite Aerosmith song?
It's very difficult to choose from such a wide range of amazing songs; however my two favorites would have to be 'I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing' and 'Dream On'.
Tell us about your most memorable Aerosmith moment.
Oddly enough, a lot of 'my firsts' were to Aerosmith songs. My first dance - I Don't Wanna Miss A thing; first kiss - Sweet Emotion; first day of school - Dream On; first song ever heard - I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing; etc...
Also, hearing the story of how my mom played 'I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing' for me when she got to hold me for the first time. All the nurses and everyone has left the hospital room and my mom was clueless. She had absolutely no idea what to do with me. I started to cry, so she took out her Walkman, which had mixed CD and she put it to me ear and started to sing to me, I immediately stopped crying. Even though I don't remember it, it still always makes me smile.
Give us your funniest Aerosmith story.
There are two: The first is when I was about 5 years old, my mom and I were dancing and rockin' out to 'Walk This Way' and we were having so much fun that my mom accidently let go of my hands and I fell face first into a table. Once at the Hospital the Doctor asked what had happened and I simply told him "Mommy did it!" My mom was so afraid that they were going to take me away due to child abuse! The second is definitely the reaction I get from people when I tell them how in love I am with Aerosmith and Classic Rock in general. Being 17 at this time - where you have the 'new' pop genre of music - is kinda difficult and whenever I say that I dislike the music of my time and would rather listen to 60's-90's music I get the weirdest reactions.
Give us your favorite Aerosmith lyric or quote (one liner).
"life's a journey, not a destination", it has so much meaning and it's my quote to live by.
Tell us about yourself…
My name is Taylor Morgan, I am 17 years old and I come from a little town on the outskirts or Toronto, Ontario. I've been a fan of Aerosmith my entire life, and it's my goal in life to meet Aerosmith just once, if only for a second. I often get some weird looks when people look at my iPod or my music selection. I am one lucky girl to have been introduced to such an amazing band at such an early age and I'm always telling people that I really should have been born in the seventies so I could have been able to live through some of the most amazing musical talents to ever set foot on this planet.
