Band

11-Jun-12
Week of 6/11 - Adam H.

When did you first hear Aerosmith?
I think I was about 13.  I was in the car on my way home from speaking on a panel, and my Dad popped in an Aerosmith Tape, and I said, “Wow I really like Aerosmith.” He said “Cool.”  Then I said “No I mean I Really, Really like Aerosmith.” They have been my favorite Band ever since. The first song I heard was “Walk This Way.” (I think.)

What’s your favorite Aerosmith song?
It’s really hard to choose, but it would probably be “Sweet Emotion.” Can you believe that the shaking sound in the beginning is a sugar packet? That blew my mind.

Tell us about your most memorable Aerosmith moment.
My most memorable moment will be when I go to see them in concert July 5th  2012 .  That will be the best time of my entire life!!!

Give us your funniest Aerosmith story.
Well, I was listening to Aerosmith on my MP3 player in class really loud, and this really annoying person kept poking me and I would pause it and she would say  “turn it down” and I would keep saying  “NO!” The teacher didn’t do anything about it ‘cause He liked Aerosmith too.  She eventually stopped, but I think the teacher and I got a good laugh out of it.

Give us your favorite Aerosmith lyric or quote (one liner).
The road to heaven is paved in hell
And it makes you wonder
Why you're here at all
n  From “Shut up and Dance” off the “Get A Grip” album

Tell us about yourself…
Well, My Name is Adam H, and I live in Farwell, Michigan. I Love to rock out Aero-style. (and I ain’t talkin’ ‘bout clothing brands either) I am 16 years old, and My Favorite TV shows include RuPaul’s Drag Race, CSI: Miami, Fringe, Bones, Storage Wars, and that kind of stuff. In the photo shown here, I am wearing a hat with naval pilot wings, holding  Toys In The Attic and the debut, surrounded by all the rest of my Aerosmith Records, in their new tour T-shirt, sitting underneath a poster from 1989. Oh, and Aerosmith Rocks, Totally.

Your favorite way to relax...

Sitting on my bed, listening to my Aerosmith records, Playing my guitar or Reading My Favorite Book, - “Does the Noise In My Head Bother You?” by Steven Tyler.

Your favorite breakfast...
Mine would have to be a fantasy breakfast, with Cinnamon rolls, waffles, (fresh from the Iron) strawberries, whipped cream, and Coffee Talk with Joey Kramer. (Oh and Joey, Don’t forget to bring the Band!!!! Haha. )

Your words of wisdom...
And the things that come to those that wait may be the things left by those that got there first.
-Steven Tyler
