When did you first hear Aerosmith?

In Hawaii summer of 1974. My friend was a huge fan already and introduced me to the music of the “Bad Boys from Boston” Aerosmith!! It was love at first sound bite.

What’s your favorite Aerosmith song?

Dream On, it was the first Aerosmith song I ever heard, touched me immediately and has remained the nearest and dearest to me for 38 yrs.

Tell us about your most memorable Aerosmith moment.

During the summer of 1975, I was 16 and staying with my friend in Hawaii.. Aerosmith was playing 2 nights at the HIC Arena and we had tickets. A radio station hosted a promotion at D.J.’s records for the Boys to come and do a meet and greet and album signing. I happened to be standing at the entrance right when the boys came in, Steven smiled at me and then flicked the tip of my nose. Got my album (Aerosmith’s first) signed
by all the boys in the band and in a moment of extreme daring I asked Steven if he would Gimme a Kiss! He was happy to comply and
I went totally weak in the knees.. not a peck on the check or a brush of the lips but a full on arms around me and feel everything Kiss! My very first. Steven Tyler was the first boy I ever kissed. He spun around and did a little Steven dance that I can still see in my mind today. That same weekend we were in the front row at the concert and the memory of that kiss and that concert..has lived within me cherished ever since.

Give us your funniest Aerosmith story.

Recently I got to meet my friend  from out St Community who also had a Steven Encounter in the 70’s (1977) and actually spent two weeks with the band. We decided to meet and have dinner and when we got to the restaurant we had spread out photos of ourselves from back in the day and 8x10’s of Steven, my signed album cover and some old Creem magazines from the 70’s with Steven and/or Aerosmith on the cover and were deep in conversation and sharing stories.. we didn’t even see our waiter come up.. he did the ahem thing to get our attention and the look on his face at us two old ladies and our Aero table cloth ( ha ha) we both turned red and got the giggles and couldn’t stop… but it was fun and we noticed the waiter hanging close to our table.. eavesdropping?? and enjoying our stories… slightly embarrassing but oh what fun!
