Week of 07/10 - Alex S.
When did you first hear Aerosmith?
I grew up with Aerosmith's music playing around my house for as long as
I can remember, but I really got into them in 7th grade. My friend
Rhiannon and I fell in love with their music, and while all the other
kids in class were listening to pop and rap, we were rockin' out to the
Bad Boys of Boston.
What’s your favorite Aerosmith song?
My favorite song changes so often because they're all SO amazing, haha.
Right now, my favorite song is either Walk on Water (from 'Big Ones')
or Fever. Some others that I can seem to get enough of are Full Circle,
No More No More, Woman of the World, and Kings and Queens. The early
Aerosmith is just hands down amazing!
Tell us about your most memorable Aerosmith moment.
My most memorable moment would have to be my first ever Aerosmith
concert on July 1st at the Nassau Coliseum. I went with Rhiannon, and
we managed to get VIP and some kick-ass seats at the end of the
catwalk. It was so unbelievable seeing the men whom we've looked up to
for so many years and seen on TV and the computer, right in front of
our faces. Needless to say, we went through alot of waterproof makeup
that day (: I got to talk to Joey, who was just the sweetest guy ever
and we even got to go backstage so he could sign my book! And then the
concert itself was ridiculously awesome of course, I could barely
handle myself, haha.
Give us your funniest Aerosmith story.
This would probably have to be when me and Rhiannon were waiting in the
VIP line to go meet the guys and I tweeted at Joey telling him that we
were coming in ot meet him, and he tweeted us back saying "OK! See you
there" and we just died. Full out screaming, crying and falling on the
floor. Everyone around us was laughing hysterically and Rhiannons dad
was pretending not to know us. It set the pace for what was going to be
an awesome day.
Give us your favorite Aerosmith lyric or quote (one liner).
This ones easy, its obviously, "The buzz that you be gettin' from the
crack don't last, I'd rather be OD'n ont he crack of her ass. We're all
here cus we're not all there tonight." Lol!
Tell us about yourself…
Well, my name is Alex and I'm 16 years old. I live in Milford, CT and
classic rock is basically my life. Aerosmith is my absolute favorite
band and I'm in love with Steven Tyler. I own 8 Aerosmith vinyls and a
total of 53 rock records. I've made it my duty to keep rock and roll
alive because its way to good to forget about. OH! This is a picture of
me (on the left), Rhiannon (the right), and Joey!
Your favorite way to relax...
I love listening to music, walking my dog, or going to the beach...
there's not much to do in Connecticut, haha!
Your favorite breakfast...
Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day, so I love allllllll breakfast
foods... my favorite is probably French toast.
Your words of wisdom...
Be yourself, live with no regrets, and rock on! \m/
