New York radio station Z-100's Zootopia Ball concert
The stage was really cool. It went out into the crowd and made a big "Z." Steven used the Z to a T( sorry - couldn't resist). On the side of the stage was a swimming pool right off to Joe's left. It was freezing out so no one bothered to jump in. The guys didn't miss a beat. They cruised through Sweet Emotion, Jaded, Dream On. Next up came a taste of the new album. The band torched through a rockin' rendition of "Baby Please Don't Go." It seemed to go over great and the kids loved it. Then Walk This Way which, of course, went over like a storm. Back to the plane and back in Beantown in no time.

Missing from the plane ride home - Tom Hamilton.

Tom stayed in New York City to appear on CBS's Morning Show Live the next morning to donate one of his Parker Basses - a one-of-a-kind prototype - to benefit VH1's Save the Music campaign. The bass was signed by all five members of the band and should take in a pretty penny for the Save the Music Program which continues to keep music education classes alive in public schools! Look for Tom's Parker bass on EBay.

Speaking of the ride home. British rock Photographer Ross Halfin was on the plane to go over some shots for the upcoming tour book. This guy is a royal pain in the ass. All he does is talk about himself and how tight he is with Jimmy Page. He just shot Eminem and he is shooting Ozzy this week, blah, blah blah! I got to hand it to him though, he's a star of VH1's Behind the Music and he takes great pictures.

Joe was on local Boston radio station WZLX on Monday. We should have that up right here really soon for all to hear.

See you on the road!
