Fan of the Week

Week of 03/03 - Katherine

When did you first hear Aerosmith?
Not sure but I was hooked when I first heard "Cryin" on the radio

What’s your favorite Aerosmith song?
"Deuces are Wild"

Tell us about your most memorable Aerosmith moment.
At a concert in Winnipeg Steven gave me the mic and let me finish a verse of "Walk This Way" with "and I have her just a little kiss like this". After he walked off and the band repeated the iconic cord. Steven danced and said "She Knows It!" while pointing at me.

Give us your funniest Aerosmith story.
I was 18 and a huge Aerosmith fan so on the last day of college in Fargo I packed up my dorm room and headed by myself to Canada for an Aerosmith show in Winnipeg. Everything I owned was crammed into my car. It was the greatest show ever. I was front row and even got to sing a lyric of "Walk This Way". On the way back however I was stopped at border customs. They didn't believe me that I was coming back from the show alone. I had to drive my car into a huge garage, they locked me in one of those side rooms and completely tore through everything I owned and even had a dog sniffing. Finally at 3am they were finished and I had the pleasure of trying to repack everything and still had a two hour drive home.

Give us your favorite Aerosmith lyric or quote (one liner).
"Life's a journey not a destination, and I just can't tell, just what tomorrow will bring"

Tell us about yourself…
I am 24 years old finishing up my BFA Degree in Graphic Design in Fargo North Dakota. I love to create anything and everything and have a collection of concert posters I have created that were signed by the featured bands. I have completed 75 of the 101 things I want to do in my life and need a new list. I spent the last year as a Professional Intern at the Walt Disney World Resort doing graphic design support for Communications. I have had Walt Disney Imagineering ask for my portafolio twice and have won an essay scholarship sponsored by them. I WILL be an Imagineer someday.

Aerosmith was my first concert when I was 12 and we had the worst seats possible... I was hooked. Now I am a huge concert fanatic and have a habbit of being "that girl" who somehow ALWAYS gets back stage. I have met Buckcherry. Creed, Papa Roach, Goo Goo Dolls, and Disturbed just to name a few. The ONLY bad I have not met is Aerosmith and they are my all time favorite. I have seen Aerosmith play live 6 times, have driven 13 hours before just to see them, and have been front row 3 times. Some day I will design their tour posters.

Your favorite way to relax...
I don't relax, I'm a fitness instructor, and college student who needs a break.

Your favorite breakfast...
Anything for breakfast is a good breakfast!

Your words of wisdom...
Learning and Succeeding, is by Dreaming and Doing.
