Week of 1/10 - Melissa B.

When did you first hear Aerosmith?
As a child when my mom would listen to them but, it was when I was 13 that I heard Cryin' and life has been nothing but those 5 guys ever since!

What's your favorite Aerosmith Song?
I'll go with She's On Fire.  So sultry and dirty.... that's Aerosmith.

Tell us about your most memorable Aerosmith moment.
Being 9 months pregnant and having to leave early due to going into early labor from it being so hot and being so worked up singing and dancing at the July 2001 Sandstone Amphitheater show. I didn't have her that night, but I did a few days later. Her name is Layla and she's 10 years old now.

Give us your funniest Aerosmith story.
2007 @ Sandstone - I had 4th row, which was already making it the best night of my life aside from giving birth, when Steven took off his sunglasses and tossed them out.  They flew in slow motion and bounced off of my chest - like a direct shot to the tits.  The guy next to me and I locked eyes for a split second before we hit the ground scrambling to find them in the dark.  My hands were going everywhere and I couldn't see them and everyone was starting to grab for them at this point, but then I touched them and realized the heel of my boot was on them. Victory!! I snatched them as fast and I could, stood up and yelled, "I GOT THOSE BITCHES!!!" Everyone was high-fiving me and patting me on the back, and then I looked over at my girl friend next to me (who has mad lust for the man) and with total hate and disgust she said "You bitch." So now I wear them as often as possible around her.  Maybe not the funniest, but definitely the most awesome.

Give us your favorite Aerosmith lyric or quote (one-liner)...
"So there she was buns up and kneeling, I was wheeling and a dealing! My ace in the hole, so-to-speak" - S. Tyler

Tell us about yourself…
I'm a 32 year old (but forever 17) Kansas City girl who works as an Esthetician/Makeup Artist/Waxing Specialist. Aerosmith has millions of #1 fans - I don't claim to be the biggest or the best (yeah right, of course I do), but my daughter said to me the other day "Don't you think it's weird that you love Aerosmith so much, but they have no idea who you are?" The boyfriend thought it was hysterical, but I thought yeah, that is weird and wrong! haha  So when I saw this, I thought why not?

Your favorite way to relax...
Put on music, grab a glass of wine (or 2 or 6) and cook in my kitchen.

Your favorite breakfast...
Country fried steak and eggs, stack of pancakes, hash browns, bacon & sausage (I'm a gluttonous pig) and coffee.

Your words of wisdom...
"The size of your success is measured by the strength of your desire; the size of your dream; and how you handle disappointment along the way."  I'm working towards being a business owner and that quote has kept me focused and motivated.
